A-GOAL マラウイ支部では、持続的に活動を維持する事を目的とし、農作物の栽培を行っています。
今回の野菜の配布では、作物の生育のために余分な葉を取り除く作業の一環としてササゲなど豆類の作物の葉やカボチャの葉の収穫を行い、収穫した作物の葉を中心として栄養を十分に確保する事ができていない子供がいる家族45世帯以上に配布する事ができました！
マラウイでは豆類やカボチャなど色々な作物の葉の部分がおかずとして調理して食べられており、収穫前にそれらの作物の葉の部分を有効利用できるというのが現在栽培している野菜を選択している理由の中のひとつでもあります！
A-GOAL Malawi has just distributed leaves of cow peas, beans and pumpkins from its garden to more than 45 households with malnourished children in Chembe village of Malawi! In Malawi, people enjoy cooking and eating delicious relish by using leaves of these crops. While waiting till cow peas, beans and pumpkins are ready to harvest, people do pruning and can optimize the use of leaves of these crops, contributing to improvement of their meals and nutrition!!
